Health sciences librarian
Duties and responsibilities:
Health science librarians and library technicians collect and organize medical information. They even help practitioners to find the information they need for the patient care, education, research, and administration.
Librarians acquire books, journals, and other library material. They establish electronic and digital database information for the systems. They coordinate and even control budgets and supervise library technicians. Even organize the information collections and develop catalogs for access and to provide reference assistance to the patrons.
The library technicians assist that librarians in organizing collections, shelve books, manage the circulation desks, even answer the patron’s questions, and also perform the administrative duties.

Average salary:
$20,000 - $30,000 (library technicians)
$35,000 - $55,000 (librarians)

Educations:
The student should require taking more challenging high school courses in the information management, science, math, and English.

The health science library technician training varies by employer. Most provide on the job training. Before the entire training student should complete library technicians programs at a community college or technical school. The associate’s degree can be earned in many of the programs.
