Licensed practical nurse (LPN)
Duties and responsibilities:
  The (LPNs) work with and the direction of the registered nurses and even with the physicians. They care if their patients are injured, handicapped, and sick. The licensed practical nurse duties are taking blood pressures, temperatures and pulses. They also give injections, change dressings, and help give the patients’ baths. All in general, they care for all of their patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and extended care facilities. A few practical nurses work in private homes.

Average salary: $16,000 - $23,000

Educational requirements:

  Not all high school diploma and GED certificate is always required it is always encourage. The LPNs doesn’t have the most professional education in the registered nurse. The state approved training programs are offered in the hospitals, vocational schools, junior colleges and even private schools.
